How these treatments differ
Resurfacing lasers work mainly on the skin surface and shallow-to-moderate depressions. Subcision works beneath the scar to release tethering that lasers cannot reach. Microneedling sits between the two in intensity. Regenerative injectables and PRP are usually supportive rather than corrective. No single session permanently removes acne scars; realistic plans are staged over several months, and active acne is usually controlled first to reduce new scarring.
